Healthy People, Healthy Places

We will build on the work that has been started to build the resilience of our community in terms of its people and its open spaces. COVID-19 has highlighted the need for safe and clean green spaces like never before and we recognise how important they are for mental and physical health.

This is why one of our biggest priorities is investing in our environment and green spaces to ensure they are accessible for the whole community.

We do this by supporting local ‘Friends of’ groups and other environmental and wildlife engagement projects such as the Tewkesbury Road Rest Garden.
