We’ve secured £458,000 of funding for the Community Sports Hub!

The Moors scores! What a goal! What a team!
After years of working on the project, we’re so excited to announce that our bid for Community Ownership Funding from the government to build the new Saracens Community Hub has been successful.
After SPTM Big Local made £350,000 available for the project, the decision was made to apply for money from the Community Ownership Fund.
As the cost of the new hub will be in excess of £1 million, we asked for £458,000 towards the build, and we are delighted to say we got it!
The hub will be game-changing for the local area and for the wider Cheltenham area.
It will be a place for young people with a dedicated community room, new facilities for Cheltenham Saracens FC, a skittles alley, and much more.
We’re on our way to creating that safe space to meet, play sports, and learn that this area so desperately needs.
